- Any key, major or natural, harmonic and melodic minor
- Slurs, scale degrees and note names switched on or off
- Staves in any size, side by side or stacked, with captions
- Generated melodies in the key you choose, with the rhythm you choose
How to make one
- Open Mustud on your iPhone, iPad or Mac and create a new worksheet.
- Tap Add and choose the exercise.
- Tap the exercise in the list to change its settings.
- Tap the new-exercise button for fresh questions. Add a Student Details block for name, date and score.
- Export a PDF or print it.

- Can I give students a blank scale to complete?
- Yes. Show only the clef and key, and add a caption such as “Write the scale of D major, ascending.”
- Does it do both hands for piano scales?
- Use a grand staff, or two staves stacked with a caption for each hand.
